Although many of our members choose to play either roll-ups or internal leagues, we provide plenty of opportunity and encouragement to those wishing to test their skill in club, local or even county and national competitions.

County competitions are provided both through the Essex County Indoor Bowling Association‘s County League and individual/team entry to the county’s annual knock-out competitions in a variety of pairs, triples and fours formats. Similarly, a number of our bowlers enter English Indoor Bowling Association competitions each year. You can find out more about both on our County & National Competition page.

We also have very active internal club competitions for singles, pairs and triples, including fixed jack and ladies-only competitions.
