The team from Ilford and District Indoor Bowling Club finished in a fantastic third place in this week’s Tye Green Ladies Gala Day. From a strong line-up of twenty-four teams, Sally Garlick, Melanie Nathan, Jeanette Edmunds, and Janet Doe (pictured below from left to right) finished near the top of the twenty-four teams that entered, losing out only to eventual winners Woodford and second place home team Tye Green “A”.
The Ilford team took home a £60 prize, and the day raised £1,100 for St Clare Hospice.
